I can't wait until today has passed

I'm not sure why I am blogging about this right now...
I have had a very up and down day, but mostly down.  While driving home tonight I was excited to get home, hop into bed and wake up 6 hours later to a new day so I could start everything over but when I got here I came home to a surprise... Max got into the trash which was very full of old food and the bathroom trash which was very full of all sorts of fun bathroom stuff.  He somehow managed to cover every inch of floor with toilet paper, avocado peels, old cake mixes (we cleaned out the pantry of expired goods yesterday into the trash), soggy napkins... you name it, it was smashed into the rugs and sprinkled on the floor.  thank you dog, you know just what to do when I am having a bad day.

Does anyone want a dog?

Seriously.

this is me right now as I type.

At least you found a great picture to post at the end.

oh I know those days for sure!! once when we didn't have celeste house trained we left her for a half and hour and came back and she did the same thing AND pooped under our table. It was sooo gross.

One thing that has eliminated her going through the trash is get a smaller one and put it under the sink. This way she isn't tempted. Likewise with the bathroom one, we have one of those small metal ones, and it seems to keep her out.

Good luck and I know that feeling of wanting to give them away sometimes.

oh another time she climbed up on my coffee table and ate a bag of 10 FULL size candy bars that I had been saving for a baby shower, when we came home there were wrappers all over our house. AND she pooped reeces peanut butter cup, twix and almond Joy wrappers all week long.

I also can't count how many loafs of bread she has gobbled down, how many hot dogs or peanut butter sandwiches she has grabbed off our table.

But if you take it out of the picture its easier for them to control themselves.
